“Beautiful location and museum”
Reviewed March 19, 2013

The Medieval Museum is beautiful and the Unicorn tapestries are really amazing. The garden is just like a Medieval garden used to be and on weekends there's music in the afternoon. The view from the museum is just incredible!

“We purchased a metro card and visited many New my day trip to the cloisters”
Reviewed March 18, 2013

We purchased a metro card and visited many New York City sites. When we entered Fort Tryon park we were over taken by the breath taking view of the Palisades mountains. The garden was a sanctuary of botanicals. I also loved the unicorns that were displayed in the magnicent tapestries

“Transport back in time!”
Reviewed March 17, 2013 via mobile

My husband and I were totally amazed by all the artwork and artifacts. Amazing colors for their ages! The walk through Ft Tron was very nice, would be fantastic when flowers are in bloom and it's warmer!

“Pretty even in late Winter”
Reviewed March 16, 2013

I hesitated visiting when the gardens would not be in bloom at all, but honestly, in winter now, things were still hauntingly gorgeous about the whole facility! Things are bright in the sunny day that I visited. We did a self guided lovely two hour visit. Less crowded than in our May visit, a few years ago. The cafe is lovely, the gift shop is nice too.
