“Sushi in Chelsea”
Reviewed January 24, 2013

Looking for something healthy and tasty late night in Chelsea, found Izakaya Ten. Waitress was real charming, food was delicious, music and ambiance was the best. Authentic. Will definitely come back... order the rice ball with plum, better than my ex-mother in law's!...

“Sushi with the kids in NYC”
Reviewed November 24, 2012 via mobile

Fantastic sushi with the kids! We went here with our 5 and 7 year old and the waitress was great about recommending things for the kids. Thanks for a great night out in New York.

“Great selection of sake, excellent small plates and a Kyoto vibe”
Reviewed July 21, 2012

I sat at the bar and the service was perfect, the waiters very helpful and friendly. They recommended a dry, not too fruity cold sake that was lovely. I had fried chicken and grilled octopus, both excellent. Not too crowded, laid back, friendly atmosphere.

“Everytime I go to NYC I try to hit this joint”
Reviewed July 1, 2012

Totally fun place for drinks and great eats.

Super selection of drinks- Shochu, Beer and sake...pick your poison....they have a great selection. What is all the more fun is ordering (and reordering) any one of the dozens of delicious traditional Izakaya dishes on the menu.

First discovery in March and second visit in June....just as much in love the second time as I was the first.

It aint the cheapest- and the prices can sneak up on you...but for that kind of taste and quality, it'w well worth it.
Cant wait to go back.

“Chelsea favourite”
Reviewed June 3, 2012 via mobile

This cute little Izakaya couldn't be better. Great Japanese bar snacks to go with a good sake collection and plenty of atmosphere. Done everything from big birthday parties to romantic dinners here and it always hits the spot. If you're eating late you can avail yourself of the 11 til close Sake happy hour.
