Fabulous green enclave in the middle of the city. Beautiful sculptures and bridges and would recommend walking around the whole park. Great way to start the day walking from the south entrance up to the Museums. Only fault is there is very little signage so you don't know what you are looking at or near.

What a magical spot on earth. It is really too bad every city cannot have a treasure like Central Park.

Loved the park, especially Shakespeare's garden and the little castle - got a bit sunburnt. Felt very safe - lots of children playing little league baseball, cyclists, roller bladers, runners, in a beautiful setting.

As time was at a premium we decided to take a cycle drawn rickshaw. It find seem pretty expensive $3 per minute but we negotiated and ended up with almost an hour for $90. It meant we could see all of the park without spending hours walking around. The rickshaw driver was funny as well as being knowledgeable about the park

Central Park is always a treat, but it really shines in spring. We always include a trip through the park when we're in Manhattan.
