We walked around to central park after taking the subway to Times Square. It was about 9pm and there were homeless people in every stairway, scary as we walked by but we gave food to a few of them until we saw a sea of hundreds of rats in the central sidewalk area of the park……….and a homeless man feeding them all, they were climbing all over him and his grocery cart, it was disgusting.

Want to unwind after a heavy saturday night in NYC. Central Park is the perfect antidote. It's possible to feel totally isolated from the bustling city and enjoy the many entertainers putting on adhoc shows throughout the park. Bring walking shoes though, it is vast!

There is always something so peaceful yet invigorating about getting out in Central Park. While we're were there we had a beautiful early snow. Just walking around is a nice rest for the mind and the hustle that is the city we love to visit. Don't forget to leave time for the zoo or just walk the Park. Either way there's lots to see and many places for you to get amazing photos of the surroundings and your companions.

We visited Central Park in January for the first time and it was definitely the highlight of our trip! We enjoyed walking around and people watching while enjoying amazing views of the city. There was a light coating of snow on the ground when we visited, so it was very pretty. We visited during the daytime and always felt very safe! We will definitely be returning in the future!
