Gorgeous park in the midst of NYC, which was/is the whole idea. We touched only a fraction of the park and what we saw is amazingly kept up and beautiful. No trash to be seen.. Lots of families and couples just enjoying a beautiful space and amazing views each way you turn. We loved our visit and wish we had more time to see the fountain and other well known areas. Looking forward to our return trip. If you do visit, plan on lots of walking and lots of time to savor.

This place is absolutely beautiful, the walking trails, trees and fellow tourists made it my favorite place to go. Walking from the Met through Central Park back to our hotel was definitely my favorite part of visiting NY!

We took the opportunity to walk the length of the park on a bright autumn day and really enjoyed it. Allowing for stops and a quick lunch it took 3 hours but was really enjoyable. The avenue in the centre was amazing with its yellow leaved tree line and it was good listening to the buskers etc. As we strolled along.
We had a quick bite to eat at the restaurant called the Loeb Boathouse which was ok. Walking through the park is an oasis of calm compared to the city around it and it feels quite weird when you come out and join the crowds and traffic again.
You can get a map from the kiosk at the south entrance which is helpful for getting around and deciding where to head to if you have limited time.

Lovely tribute area to John Lennon. Very well looked after. Just over the road from yoko’s apartment.

Visiting Central Park was a great pleasure. Our eyes got green and sky blue being there seeing so much greenery and beautiful sky with skyscrapers and trees at its bottom. One must keep at least a full day for this lovely place. The zoo nearby is also nice place to be.

One of the most serene, picturesque, magical places I have ever visited. I could have lived in the park. Amazing.

For years I’ve been visiting from the southern end of the park and not venturing very far. This time, we visited from the UWS (77th St.), and the lake is stunning with the fall foliage! Don’t miss the picturesque bridge and many gazebos.

A great time to visit though a lot of the cafes were closed so beware. Beautiful and breathtaking colours not to be missed. The park is absolutely huge so plan a whole day. If you visit on a Sunday there are lots of buskers to entertain you. Well worth a visit.

Central Park is now off my bucket.. and after visiting it, its again back in my bucket for a revisit.
Firstly, this park is sooooo huge and kinda impossible to do it in a day if u want to see it all. From "Alice" to 'IMAGINE" it sure was one memorable experience.. just wow.
