You could spend days here. Best museum in the US. Even on a crowded day there is so much space you can find yourself alone studying a painting or sculpture.

Our only issue here was that we didn not plan enough time of the day. From the moment you pay to enter, to the time you find your way out, you are learning. The theme are plenty and well arranged. The exhibits are very well done. The staff are around for questions. The building is well mapped out to take you where you want.
This is a must for any person in New York or any person visiting New York.

It was amazing to see such works of art all in one place. I was in awe of the Monet, Picasso, and other paintings that were on display as well as the limestone statues. It's a large museum so best to pick a couple sections to view as you can spend hours in each section.

Visiting the Met has always been on my list and I finally got there. I wasn’t disappointed as the building itself is phenomenal and the collection is vast. They make your experience efficient and pleasant with the use of ticket kiosks, a coat check, a huge information desk with ample staff, several cafes, benches, and tons of helpful staff throughout. The collection of Rodin sculptures, impressionist paintings, armor and weapons, Ottoman artifacts, and intact Roman bedroom frescos were some of the highlights of our several-hour visit. The pass was valid for three days at all three locations as well. Overall this was a definite value and shouldn’t be missed.

An interesting and fun tour, this is a very enjoyable way to spend two hours at the incomparable NYC Metropolitan Museum of Art. Andrew Lear, a retired classics professor, is highly knowledgeable and entertaining as he discusses some of works of art by or portraying ladies who can be deemed dangerous, rebellious or challenging to the norms of the society they lived in at the time.
