This small, sturdy church stands as a testament to the compassion and human kindness of all who came together to help the City recover from 9/11. Sitting on the benches where the 9/11 responders rested and whose gear scarred the wood, seeing the memorials, posters and funeral cards were all sobering reminders of an unforgettable event in our nation's history.
I'm so grateful to the St. Paul's parish community for their service in support of the emergency responders. This site definitely broadened our perspective on the Ground Zero experience.
