Yesterday, my daughter and I went on the 4:15 sweatshop tour. I thought the educator was fantastic and I was amazed we could go into this what looked like a condemned building. It was so interesting how we saw 3 apartments on one of the floors. 2 were recreated to resemble what they probably looked like when families lived there. One was left untouched so we could see the disrepair. Both my 13 year old daughter and I were so interested in the story of each family, and I was able to connect as my family came to Canada and probably started off the same way. I would love to go back for another tour next time. I am so glad I listened to my cousin' suggestion.
