Our daughter lives in NYC, after several visits and seeing all the regular NYC sights several times, Broadway, art museums, Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island etc. We started looking for something different. Sure glad we found the Tenement Museum. Very educational and a real insight on how the immigrants lived. They offer several tours, we have done two of them, The "Sweat Shop Workers" and "Hard Times". We are glad we did the two different tours. However they do over lap on several things. So if you only have time for one or decide to do only one. I would suggest taking the "Sweat Shop Workers" tour. Also it is best to get your tickets in advance, the groups are very limited in size. Hope you enjoy the tour as much as we did.
