I live in NYC and always take visitors to this location.

This building is the first in NYC to have electric lights throughout the entire building. and its right across the street from the Brooklyn Bridge and City Hall.
Great time to see all three sights

don't waste your time. 90 minute tour of the lobby and basement where there is nothing. wow! ridiculous !!! should have given the money to a homeless person.

This early skyscraper was designed like a gothic cathedral. It's an amazing design, including its lobby, and is historic. Very near City Hall in a lively downtown neighborhood.

While interesting, the 90 minutes was more - much more - about the history of Mr. Woolworth & his 5 & dime stores than it was about actually touring the building itself. The history of Mr. Woolworth could be read in a book. Signing up for a $45 tour of the building let me to believe that I would see more of the building than I actually got to see.
