I took the 90 minute tour, figuring I could be interested in at least that much information even though I'm not an architecture or design girl. I enjoyed the whole tour - there was enough history mixed in to give the building context, and the architectural details of the exterior, lobby, and public spaces were interesting. The longer you looked around inside, the more you noticed. Great tour!

We took the 90 Minute Architecture Tour. It was worth every penny of the fee. The tour guide was very informative and interesting. If you like architecture and enjoy the history of buildings, this is a fabulous tour to take. Highly recommend.

Designed by Cass Gilbert and completed in 1913. This building had dominate New York skyline for 17 years. It is national historic landmark . Since its resemble to European gothic cathedral so it was called "the cathedral of commerce" . There is tour for this building. However this building is not open to tourist from front entrance. Currently the outside of Woolworth building is under renovation.

Woolworth made so much money selling inexpensive, simple items that he paid off this building in cash. Outside looks OK but the lobby and elevators are beautiful. The tallest building in the world for a short while. If you're in the neighborhood, stop by.

We were part of a small group of 5, so this was a very personal tour. A great "behind the scenes" look at one of the most magnificent buildings in New York. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. Overall an excellent experience and well worth doing.
