The climb to the top of the Statue of Liberty on a 95 degree day wasn't expected to be a lot of fun, but it was!! The Statue is air conditioned and while a very hot day doesn't allow the air conditioning to be perfect, it certainly made for an easier climb. The stair well is a bit small and going up is easier than coming down as the steps are very small and circular, but it is well worth doing it. The park guides were wonderful and provided a lot of details and encouraged everyone to take their time on the climb and enjoy it. It was terrific!!
