Owner description: Grand Central Terminal is the most extraordinary public space in New York City. Opened to the public in 1913, this historic train terminal is a world-famous landmark in Midtown. Its rich history is a story of immense wealth and great engineering. Grand Central is one of the busiest train stations in the world, with approximately 750,000 visitors every day. It is the home of Metro-North Railroad, a subway station, iconic restaurants, shops, and the world's most alluring Apple Store. Some of the highlights to see along your tour of Grand Central include the opal-faced clock, valued at $20 million, above the Information Booth, the Largest Tiffany Glass Clock in the World below the 48-foot, 1500-ton Transportation statue overlooking 42nd Street at Park Avenue, and the mystifying acoustics of the Whispering Gallery in front of the Oyster Bar and Restaurant. Audio and guided tours are available for those with a passion for history. More information regarding tours and ways to plan your visit can be found on the Grand Central Terminal website.

Grand central station was nice to see and busy with other tourists, it wasn't maybe as impressive as i had imagined it to be but was lovely nonetheless.

It took me three trips to NYC to end up at Grand Central, and it was everything I hoped for. History... architecture... people... It's all there. And it boggles my mind to consider that millions of people travel through that one place... It's truly a gateway to everywhere!

I would never have thought of going inside if it weren't for my walking tour app and am so glad I did - just gorgeous!

Stand right in the middle of the concourse and look up at the ceiling. Wonderful. The way this place is lit, the colour, the fast-pace energy is great. I had my wedding photos here, they look incredible.

There are cafes downstairs, all quite good. The station gets you from A to B but aesthetically it's amazing.

A station to be visited whether a rail fan or not , one of the world's majestic reminders of the age of the train. Arriving by train not so glamorous nowadays but the main body of the station is still a draw. Some very good eateries there, and a wide selection of cuisine to be had . The architecture
is still in very good period condition and not ruined like the PENN. Altogether a good day out for the family , if visiting New York especially if the weather turns inclement. TIP : if you go to Washington D.C. it is worth visiting the Central Station there, it too has a good atmosphere.
