Owner description: Grand Central Terminal is the most extraordinary public space in New York City. Opened to the public in 1913, this historic train terminal is a world-famous landmark in Midtown. Its rich history is a story of immense wealth and great engineering. Grand Central is one of the busiest train stations in the world, with approximately 750,000 visitors every day. It is the home of Metro-North Railroad, a subway station, iconic restaurants, shops, and the world's most alluring Apple Store. Some of the highlights to see along your tour of Grand Central include the opal-faced clock, valued at $20 million, above the Information Booth, the Largest Tiffany Glass Clock in the World below the 48-foot, 1500-ton Transportation statue overlooking 42nd Street at Park Avenue, and the mystifying acoustics of the Whispering Gallery in front of the Oyster Bar and Restaurant. Audio and guided tours are available for those with a passion for history. More information regarding tours and ways to plan your visit can be found on the Grand Central Terminal website.

This is a stunning building, with a lot of history, they are celebrating 100yrs this month and we got to see some of the history on show ,the original plans of the Terminal was amazing. They have major expansion plans in progress for the future to connect up Long Island. You should pay a visit to the Deli along the walk & a visit to the food court downstairs.Whilst downstairs go to the whispering corners next to the Oyster Bar & impress your other half.It is just a beautiful building.Don't visit NYC and not go.

We completed the self guided audio tour of GCT. Very interesting and informative. The tour takes about 1 hr or 30 minutes for an express version. You are given a map and points of interest liked to an audio device where you follow the numbered prompts. The best about the tour is the detail and information, the bad, it is sometimes a bit difficult to follow and if you have a larger group especially with younger kids, you want to ensure they do not skip ahead on the audio program. Make sure you bring your ear buds, but they do have headphones available. The self guided tour was only 7 bucks, well worth exploring this beautiful building.

There's really nothing like Grand Central Terminal anywhere else in the world. While we were there gazing up at the architectural ceiling, there were 2 weddings taking place! It is truly a hub-bub that is not to be missed. We spent a good deal of time downstairs in the food court and enjoyed our visit to Junior's, which has the best cheesecake in NYC....if you ask me! Don't miss GCT if you visit New York....it's simply a must see.

A must visit when in New York. The inside is amazing and all you thought that it would be. Easy to get to and near the library and other sights that you would want to visit.

Loved this building. Went to the Oyster bar for lunch - great food. Used this terminal extensively as a train destination point as it is so well located. The building is so beautiful
