Owner description: Grand Central Terminal is the most extraordinary public space in New York City. Opened to the public in 1913, this historic train terminal is a world-famous landmark in Midtown. Its rich history is a story of immense wealth and great engineering. Grand Central is one of the busiest train stations in the world, with approximately 750,000 visitors every day. It is the home of Metro-North Railroad, a subway station, iconic restaurants, shops, and the world's most alluring Apple Store. Some of the highlights to see along your tour of Grand Central include the opal-faced clock, valued at $20 million, above the Information Booth, the Largest Tiffany Glass Clock in the World below the 48-foot, 1500-ton Transportation statue overlooking 42nd Street at Park Avenue, and the mystifying acoustics of the Whispering Gallery in front of the Oyster Bar and Restaurant. Audio and guided tours are available for those with a passion for history. More information regarding tours and ways to plan your visit can be found on the Grand Central Terminal website.

“Amazing Central Terminal.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2013

"Amazing" Central Terminal is what this building should be named, inside and out is a feat of engineering, of all the attractions visited in NYC this had the most effect on me, a wonderfull place to visit, great photo opportunities and you are only minutes away from any area of NYC the standard of presentation of goods in the market and food areas is exceptional.

“"Beautiful and it works too"”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2013

Grand Central Terminal is not only beautiful but it works. Of course, the ceiling is unbelievably fascinating. But everything you could want is here. The market is feast for the eyes and has everything you could want. The bookstore is quite serviceable and a great way to kill time while you're waiting. Then, downstairs is the Oyster Bar, Magnolia Bakery, Pepe coffee and many others. Maybe your shoes need shining. That's there too. And now, the Apple store. Your train is delayed? Don't worry; you will be fine here.

“Piece of America”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2013

If you ever want to experience the ultimate train station in the US, this is the place; its architecture, especially the ceiling alone is worth seeing, but if you are hungry or want to shop or want to see cupcakes and cakes frosted in front of your eyes...this is also the place! it's also very conveniently located in the heart of Manhattan.

Grand Central is quite literally stunning!
It is so grand, beautiful & very clean, we just stood on the balcony for about half an hour to take it all in.
Definitely worth a visit!
