After being recommended and walking a long distance to find Artichoke's, our family of 4 found it very small and not customer friendly. We wanted to order a large Artichoke Pizza pie & slice of cheese for young son, which we said we'd go next door where slices were sold and bring it back to our table so we could eat together, since told they only sold pies on this side. Unfortunately unfriendly waitress, who never greeted us and just seemed to exist, told us we couldn't get our son a slice next door to eat at the table, he'd have to eat it outside. When we asked politely to speak with manager since we understood she didn't make policy, the manager reiterated policy and said we should buy a small cheese pizza for our son instead and that even though there was no one else in the small restaurant, we couldn't just buy a slice there. We went to other side, bought 2 slices of Artichoke and 1 cheese slice. Thanks to management's policy, we saved money and found pizza was ok, too creamy (spinach-artichoke dip type) for our liking, son didn't like cheese pizza & dough too thick for his liking. After spending week in NYC, Artichoke's was the most unfriendly restaurant we tried!!.
