We booked this KOA thinking it was near Carlsbad caverns.. only to arrive and realize it isn't even in Carlsbad. We were disappointed because we had planned a two day trip to the caverns and that's a lot of driving while we're already on a road trip from MA-CA! Aside from the location factor, everything was great. Quite campground, really clean bathrooms & laundry facility. We ordered pizza and chicken strips from the cook and it was alright.. nothing fancy, but not terrible.
