Mountain Inn is very conveniently located for those in Flat Rock/Hendersonville for visiting or taking in performances done at either FR Playhouse location. This hotel is quite nice... very clean and well kept. Breakfast area has coffee, fruit, & tea available almost all hours (if not all). I cannot say when the hotel was last renovated, but it did not seem "worn and tattered" like many in its price range are. Our accommodations looked brand new... fridge, microwave, & coffeemaker (also hair dryer, iron & ironing board) in the suite, cable TVs in both the bedroom and the sitting area which had a sofa bed and easy chair. The bathroom was surprisingly spacious.

As another review stated: the breakfast served at Mountain Inn is good and surpasses the breakfast offering at another name-brand chain in the same price range. Fresh hot waffle maker offers a tempting morning treat not even available daily at home! In fact, it was a bad breakfast experience in the Hendersonville area that led us to give Mountain Inn a try. in the first place.

Conveniently located just off I-26 at Upward Road Exit... well off the highway assures no road noise to disturb a good night's sleep. There is a Zaxby's right there as well if you want a decent quick lunch in a hurry when rushing to get to a matinee at FRP.

We spent eight days here on a house hunting trip and couldn't be more pleased. We had a king suite with a full kitchen. The door to the bedroom can be closed-a big plus since my husband gets up early. The staff is the most friendly I've seen. If you need anything all you have to do is ask. Dogs are allowed. All the ones I saw were very well behaved & quiet. The room was very clean and comfortable. They even have ceiling fans. The breakfast was fine-bacon or sausage every morning along with the regular stuff.

Room Tip: A view of the waterfall is very nice. They are all far enough off the highway to be quiet.

Was coming to the area for the mother earth news fair and found this great deal on groupon. Bought it without hesitating and am so glad we did. They let us check in early so we could go check out the area. Had a personal welcome letter in our room waiting for us. The room had a kitchen that was great. The indoor pool was awesome felt like taking a bath. The breakfast was good for continental and the people were very nice. If we are ever in the area groupon or not, I will be staying here.

Comfortable & attractive place to stay. Spacious room. Friendly & helpful staff. Breakfast better than chain lodging breakfast of comparable price range. Goof value. Convenient to attractions we were wanting to visit.

We stayed at this hotel while visiting Asheville. Very friendly hotel staff and clean accommodations. The hotel was conveniently located just off the interstate, yet quiet. We would definitely stay again in the future and will share this location with our family and friends.

Was here during Storm Pax.
The staff is friendly, but not nosy or prying. (Hate when staff does that). The hotel is clean, well-maintained. The breakfast is a bit better than standard fare, and they don't cut it off directly on the nose of service time. They genuinely care about their guests.
We stayed on the back side, which faces the woods. Even with the storm and plenty of guests, we weren't disturbed by others noise. A pretty quiet experience. They do allow dogs which is appreciated.
There is a Waffle House, and a Zaxby's across the parking lot which was helpful in the storm.
Other than that, it's a bit (not too much...) of a drive to get to other stores, town, or groceries.
But downtown Hendersonville is a cute place with things to do with kids, places to eat.
Would come back and stay here. The pillows do need updating though.

Room Tip: We stayed on the back side. Nice view of the woods
