“Outstanding Evening in Flatrock North Carolina”
Reviewed May 9, 2008

I was very fortunate to discover the Seasons Restaurant at the Highland Lake Inn. Celebrating my wife's 50th birthday with 25 family and friends presented a challenge in logistics and in trying to please a large group of very picky people. Seasons turned out to be the perfect answer. Our catered evening was a taste treat from start to finish. We enjoyed a carving station of prime rib, an incredible salmon dish, and chicken prepared to perfection as well. Everything from salads through side dishes and main-courses was both beautifully presented and deliciously prepared. The pastry chef prepared special custom treats for our dessert buffet, and everyone in the room made multiple trips through the buffet lines. The only thing that exceeded our appreciation of the meal was the service both before, during, and after our event. Had our family not been predominantly local, we would have also enjoyed staying at this beautiful, hidden, yet highly accessible retreat. My family and friends unanimously voted the food and service, "to die for". Please take any chance you can to enjoy Seasons at the Highland Lake Inn.

“Wonderful food and service”
Reviewed March 7, 2008

Season's uses the freshest ingredients, with lots of organic and locally farmed produce and meat. Our dinner, with wine, dessert and tip was about $50/person, and worth every penny.
We stayed at Highland Lake Inn, so we also had coupons for breakfast every morning. The breakfast buffet was fresh, and delicious. I couldn't get enough of the chef's special oatmeal. The applewood bacon was thick and crunchy, and the biscuits were light as could be. I can't wait to go back!

“A wonderful celebration”
Reviewed December 19, 2005

We recently selected Seasons because we wanted a warm cozy atmosphere where our group could celebrate the season and our deepening friendships...and your restaurant hit the spot. The service was as attentive as always, and the gourmet food was plentiful and delicious. We look forward to many more special occasions at Seasons!!

“First Annual Holiday Sunday Brunch”
Reviewed December 5, 2005

A group of us began a new tradition this past week, we have established our first of many annual Holiday Brunches at Season's. The brunch selections were plentiful and the desserts were a big hit with all of our members. Look forward to returning each year. Thank you for the great service.

“Excellent Brunch”
Reviewed December 4, 2005

Excellent service and excellent food made our Sunday brunch a wonderful outing. The brunch buffet had 2 soups, nice fresh salad fixings and both breakfast and lunch foods. Among my favorite items were the chicken breast scaloppini, roasted rutabagas, beef bourguignonne and cheese grits. Live piano music accompanied brunch and a fire burned in a beautiful stone fireplace. Highly recommended.
