Spent 3 nights at SkyRidge, wonderful accomaditions with great views. Breakfast was delightful and the homemade granala out of site, they even gave me the recipe. The owners put on a 5pm get-together with snacks, etc and that was most enjoyable, fun getting to know them. Some great places to eat in the area. Look forward to a return visit, SkyRidge makes you feel comfortable, what more could you want.

We stayed for one night, in the Pinon Room, on our way between Arches and Bryce. The entire B&B was wonderfully decorated in a Southwest theme, with comfortable furnishings throughout. The Pinon room had a queen four-poster bed, a writing desk, 2 chairs, satellite television, a coffeemaker, an ironing board & iron, a ceiling fan, a well-laid out bathroom, and a private balcony with hot tub. The hot tub had a lovely view of the distant mountains. The room came with lovely bathrobes, and all the linens and towels were first-rate. The entire inn had a well-thought-out feeling to it. We enjoyed complimentary sodas on the front porch as we waited for the 5:00 hors dourves. They were delicious--an italian tart, a quesadilla and artichoke dip, served with sangria. Breakfast the next day was equally delicious--griddle cakes, very good ham, and assorted fruits. A quiet oasis, that I'd highly recommend.

The Skyridge Inn in Torrey, Utah is an oasis in a wilderness. Okay, not really a wilderness but this is still a fairly remote region. The innkeepers, Jerry and Shauna,

are superb and know their business. It is worth coming for the breakfast alone.
The place is spotless. It is nice coming back from a hard day hiking, driving or whatever and getting into a hut tub. You have jacuzzi type baths in your room. There is a nice library where they have a large collection of books and videos and plenty of information on the surrounding areas. If you want to visit the Capital Reef, Grand Escalante or the San Rafael areas of Utah you will find it very hard to get a better or friendlier place to stay.

Stayed one night at the Skyridge B & B August 2004. Phoned ahead from Zion the night before and was able to secure the "Tumbleweed" room for US$140. Absolutely loved it! Arrived at 5:15 p.m. in time for "happy hour" - wine and appetizers. Very nice after a long drive. Our room had its own entrance from the outside (ground foor). King size bed and lovely decor. Sat outside our door on the front deck and watched the sun set and listened to the crickets. Had dinner at Cafe Diablo - entrees are a little "over constructed" but overall a nice restaurant for such a small town. Had a delicious breakfast in the common dining room. Watched the "jays" having their breakfast from the bird feeder right outside the dining room window - at least 30 of them!! Highly recommend The Skyridge if you are staying in Torrey and visoting Capital Reef area.
