The proprietors have done a nice job restoring a 1916 school building. The room was pleasant and the food is good. I was shocked, however, when it came time to check out. We had booked online using their website and used our American Express card to secure the reservation. Turns out they don't accept American Express. (Very few businesses in the area do.) We had to fumble and stumble around to find another way to pay for our two-night stay and left feeling angry and embarassed.
Just a footnote: Capitol Reef Inn just up the street does take Amex.
