Not much in the Town of Torrey but the accommodations are very comfortable. Travel light as there may be a 3 floor climb with bags. Breakfast was served at one appointed time, menu was fixed but very hearty.

Torrey is a great jumping off point when visiting Capitol Reef National Park. We stayed in the Fremont room on the top floor and had high ceilings, beautiful views and a nice breeze through the windows. The whole inn looked recently renovated and was spotless. We enjoyed meeting other guests at the communal breakfast and were able to share hiking ideas and other places to visit with each other. There is a market down the street where we were able to get sandwiches, water and snacks for our hikes. The innkeeper also gave us some good recommendations for dinner. We had a wonderful stay there!

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the top floor - the ceilings are really high and the views are great!

Torrey is perfect for visiting Capitol Reef and the Torrey Schoolhouse can't be beaten. We stayed in the Moenkopi room at the top of the house which was spacious and beautiful with great views. The whole schoolhouse is immaculate, comfortable and really welcoming. It's fantastic value for money, feels like luxury and the daily changing breakfast is great. The decor is perfect, my only issue was that we didn't stay long enough

We were looking for a place close to Capitol reef national park. This place was about ten miles from the entrance so very close. The room was huge, the massage chair great! The entire place was very elegant and charming. We were blown away as to how nice this place was. Our hostess was wonderful and the breakfast was delicious. Would absolutely stay here again. The nicest b&b we have ever stayed at!

So, first of all, know that if you are going to position yourself near Capitol Reef NP, there are not a lot of options. So imagine our surprise when we found this place! It was dripping with charm and carried with it the historic element of the town.

The most important point I can make of this place was how clean it was, even when comparing it other well-kept locations. Something this inviting also being immaculately kept made it easy to relax from a day of hiking. We had no problem making it our home base and our adopted home.

We stayed in Arithmetic on the second floor. This room is perfect for a group wanting 2-3 beds in 2 bedrooms. It shared a very spacious bathroom and had big windows.

The common areas were warm and cozy... and the breakfast was great! Ty, the owner, made us a wonderful southwestern quiche, coupled with sausages, fruit, and muffins. The nightly fee was SO inexpensive too. I would defiantly go back there if I am ever in Torrey, UT again.

Room Tip: See above regarding our room.

We learned about this unique B&B on Trip Advisor and had a wonderful two night stay there. Spacious and airy room, delightful living room, beautiful and sheltered yard, delicious hot breakfast, and friendly hostess - what more could one ask of a B&B. Be sure to eat at the nearby Cafe Diablo for a meal that you will remember.

B&B in a renovated schoolhouse. Exquisite renovation. Rooms on upper floors are difficult to reach by stairs and there is no dumb waiter. Rooms on upper levels were noisy due to wind at the windows.

Breakfast was marginal with few choices and a coffee supply which was continually depleted.

Room Tip: Stay on lower floors unless you are a pack mule or traveling light.
