“Good food with cowboy kitsch”

Really good steak, overall was pretty happy with the food. But it's also the atmosphere you've got to check out. Horse saddle seats at the bar, buffalo heads, and a stage for the band. Last night they had a really good rockabilly band.

Staff was super friendly, I definitely recommend this if you're spending a few days in Torrey.

“Goof food at good prices”

I enjoyed my bison burger with cheese and fries here a lot. It was well cooked to order and the service was rapid and friendly. They have a terrific selection of beers, of which I took full advantage.

As a bonus, ater 9::00 p.m. there was some good live C&W music, although not a fan myself.

“Surprising and Good”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 22, 2012

We are New Yorkers on a road trip in Utah to see some of its fabulous parks. After touring Capital Reef National Park, we were tipped off to the Saddlery by the manager of our motel. The building is intimidating---a big windowless unattractive brick structure. The interior is huge, with a large wooden bar, a vast dining area, a dance floor and a stage. We ate at the bar where we had good martinis and shared a huge serving of steak and potatoes and a side of homemade creamed spinach, all excellent. Scarcely occupied on our arrival at about 7 pm on a Thursday night, the place was respectably filled up later, especially after a western country band with a young female violinist appeared and played great music. If you find yourselves in Torrey, Utah, go there.

“Amazing Food and Prices”

I stumbled upon The Saddlery upon checking in at a motel. It came highly recommended and it didn't disappoint The food was amazing, the prices were low, the portions were tremendous and the ambiance is very "cowboy." If you want a great dinner, you HAVE to go to the Saddlery.

“Delightful Soups and Beer”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 19, 2012

This establishment does not say "come on in" from the road. It is a large warehouse looking building. The inside is equally as large but welcoming. The food menu is limited but everything we had was very good. We tried all three of thier soups and the jalapeno poppers (these are not your average frozen, battered, fried junk). Except for one soup being a little salty they were all hearty, flavorful and were a perfect meal for a cool fall evening. The jalapenos were stuffed with cheese, wrapped in procuitto then baked, quite a treat. The beer list is HUGE, I tried an apricot ale (can't find that just anywhere) and found it interesting and a great accompaniment to the chicken tortilla soup. An added treat that we had not planned on was that they had live music starting at 8pm provided by a local band. The woman "fiddle" player was outstanding. So what started out to be just a relaxed dinner, turned out to be a unexpectedly entertaining evening with dancing and a few games of billards too.
