Few friends and I stayed there for the weekend and we loved it! The place was super clean! We loved having a Wii since there's nothing to do at night in Torrey. Clean and comfortable bed, nice family room, clean/nice bathrooms, and GREAT delicious breakfast. If i visit the National Park - I'll for sure stay here again! I totally recommend it!

My friend Paul and I (Tom) stayed here for two nights while we went hiking in Capitol Reef National Park. The accommodations were terrific, the meals were great, and the hospitality provided by Tara Lyn and daughter Emma was the best of all. Will absolutely return next time I'm in the area.

We stayed with Chad and Roma for five nights (and five breakfasts!). Top experience for us was lingering over coffee drawing out Roma (4th generation on property) on her childhood experiences and Chad on local hiking, roads etc. VERY quiet, with the Henry Mountains out the window and Chad's buffalo(s) to the west. On the dry/warmer side of the Park, which was good for us due to rainy weather. Fifteen minutes to great hiking; slickrock or canyon take your pick. Dinners in Torrey are 30 minutes away, or do as we did and cook your own if you can snag the basement unit.

Room Tip: basement room includes a fully equipped kitchen

Seven friends and I went on a weekend hiking trip to Capitol Reef. We wanted accommodations where we could be together. Most cabins we looked at were limited to six people. We were lucky to find Notom Ranch. We could all stay in the same place, just minutes from excellent hiking. Roma and Chad were great and breakfast rocked! Can't wait for out next trip.

Your hosts, Roma and Chad, welcome you to their inviting western retreat, just outside of magnificent Capitol Reef national park, and a 25 minute scenic drive from Torrey, where you can find excellent food, a book store, espresso, and plenty of character. Their western welcome includes a tasty ranch-style breakfast, learning rich family history regarding Roma's family first settling in Utah in 1919, meeting their ranch cats, and joining Chad in feeding their buffalo, if you have the mind to do so. Go to Notom. You'll be happy you did.

Room Tip: Visit their website or call Chad or Roma.

Chose this B & B off the internet; it was just what I wanted. It's in a remote location but just on the edge of Capitol Reef Natl. Park and area for all the hiking you would want and star gazing! The owners can provide you with a complete history of the area (if you're interested; we were) and information on the hikes, scenic drives and rock finding. They also offer supper, if interested; we took that option and were not disappointed. Our 3 night stay was wonderful!

Notom Ranch B&B is located about 20 miles east of Torrey on the backside(East) of Capitol Reef. It is operated by Chad & Roma and has 4 room options; 3 2nd floor King bed suites ($80/room) with Jacuzzi tubs and a larger multi- bed apartment in the basement with kitchen and living area. I just stayed there with 7 motorcyclists from Europe and we were all very impressed. Chad & Roma provided a nice breakfast and also an optional evening meal for $10/person. It's a bit far from the closest resteraunt, so this was a great option. Beautilful quiet location with their own Buffalo herd.

Call them [--]and ask for Chad or Roma.
