“Great value in Capital Reef area”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 2, 2013

An excellent and handsome location near Capitol Reef National Park. A great value for a comfortable room. The staff was efficient and very helpful. The room had a comfortable chair in which to sit which is nice at the end of a long day.

It is what you would expect from a Best Western, clean and comfortable, with a bit more. It has a pool and jacuzzi with an outstanding view of the Capital Reef. I could have sat there looking at the scenery all afternoon. There is a restaurant in the hotel but we did not use it. We ate at the Rim Rock Restaurant across the street. The hotel is minutes from the National Park.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that is away from the road.

We checked in early and they had the room clean. I mentioned that I wanted a fridge and the receptionist upgraded our room to a suite for free! It was like two separate rooms with a bathroom in between. The pool was big and warm and the hot tub was big and hot. They were also very clean. Only thing I wished they had was a free continental breakfast. Great stay!

This hotel was new, clean, very modern with a great restaurant. Minutes from beautiful Capitol Reef National Park and close to Goblin Valley State Park. What more could you want? Have stayed at hotels costing a lot more, with less ambiance than this one. Would definitely recommend it!

Drove to Torrey from Capitol reef and have to say the hotel looked reasonably average from the road, hotel is about the first on the main road before getting to torrey. Check in was effecient, and room was good size and very comfortable. We had a room with a balcony which had a nice view and we enjoyed spending 1/2 hour sitting out there . Would have been nice to have a small fridge in room to keep drinks etc cold. Good parking and very good breakfast included. Booked early on internet and got good rate.did look to upgrade to a suite but on checking room we preferred layout of our origional booked room,2queen with balcony,, with small seating area and lounge chair

Room Tip: Balcony room

This hotel is located very close to Capital Reef National Park. Our room was large and clean. We had a large bedroom area and a separate room with a TV, couch, table/chairs and a amazing view of sandstone cliffs and beautiful lawn area with a water fountain. Within walking distance is a couple of places to eat. We ordered pizza one night which was great.

On a multi day Southwest Utah trip, this was our favorite accommodation and best value too. King suite for $67/night, fine view of the red cliffs of Capital Reef, and a nice jacuzzi as well. While the location is east of Torrey a few miles, the site is very scenic and closer to Capital Reef. The restaurant is great for breakfast, and they'll make sack lunches for day hikers. Our group of 11 couples were all pleased with this choice.

Room Tip: The 300 section at the West side has king suites with jucuzzi tubs and nice views of the red rocks f...
