Ahh Torrey Days Inn!

A nice little gem in one of the smallest towns that I have ventured through in quite some time. The hotel's location is right at the junction that heads 100 miles southwest to Bryce Canyon NP and 10 miles east to Capitol Reef NP - what could be bad ?

The hotel is small however it has an indoor decent - sized pool and hot tub.
Our room was basic, clean and comfortable . . . no frills. Breakfast was ordinary however the manager's hospitality was invaluable, kind and generous. Thank you Connie!!

For future travels to this neck of the woods, I would prefer to stay here.

I was so impressed with the Days Inn just outside Capital Reef National Park in Torrey, Utah. We chose it for the price, expecting just an ordinary stay, but got so much more. The owner or GM filled the lobby with information about Capital Reef's unique land formation. The halls had photos & diagrams explaining the parks water folds (which I'd never heard of, but understand now thanks to their diagrams). The front desk clerk was knowledgeable & cheerful, too. There was a cozy leather sofa in the front lounge (with a fireplace) & a 2nd seating area on the floor above. Our room had a large screen TV, free wifi, local restaurant menus, microwave, fridge, & coffee, plus 4 fluffy pillows on each bed. There was an indoor pool with a jacuzzi. Plenty of restaurant options are within an easy drive or walk, from a Subway to a 5 star restaurant. Plus it's inbetween 2 outstanding national parks (Capital Reef & Grand Staircase Escalante) & within a fairly easy days drive to Bryce, Zion & Lake Powell. My impression of Days Inn as just a place to sleep is elevated with our stay here.

We stayed at Days Inn in Torrey, Utah for three nights. We had a very comfortable and clean room. Everyone was very nice. Breakfast each morning was good, with a varitey of foods provided. We would stay here again.

We selected this Motel for visiting the Capitol Reef N.P. The Motel is OK. Our room was rather small but for one night it was all right. Staff is friendly and helpful, pool is nice and the location is perfect.
