Nice setting. Almost everything else was poor! Particularly the way things were served. Cosmo weak, not made with cranberry juice, no limes. Salad maybe 1/4 cup. Crab cake tasted ok but served alone on a plate. Friend had raw oysters that were served warm. Complaints were met with indifference by manager although waitress was ok - new but trying and apologetic. Overall a totally unsatisfactory experience.

We walked in at 7 to no one at the host/hostess stand. Took about a minute for a guy I presume was a bartender to walk over and say we could sit anywhere. He followed us with menus. Told us waitress would be over, but came back and said she was taking one of the other two or three occupied tables their food and took our drink orders. I'm allergic to shellfish and don't care for other seafood so I got a french dip sandwich; it was served on a hot dog bun and there wasn't a lot of meat. Definitely not worth the price. Another person in my group had the crab cake it said it was almost all filler. The last person in my group had the special, Old Bay seasoned scallops and said they were good and cooked just right. I can't remember the waitress checking on us. When we left it was dark, the foyer lights were not on, neither were the porch lights going out to the parking lot. The carpet was shabby and the ceiling tiles stained and moldy. Part of me wants to blame it on the fact that it's off-season but it's only 1 day into the off-season.

Everything we tried to order on the menu wasn't available - response from server was they are going through a new vendor- service was slow - waitress forget several items - this place definitely needs to get their act together! Management needs to step up - do NOT recommend this place !

We decided to dine there on our last night of vacation, since other restaurants were packed and we wanted to see what it was like since Hurricane Mo's moved out. Walked in and the place was empty...clue#1. Service was horrible. The waitress forgot to bring out the soup before the main entree, potatoes were cold and the crab cakes were "all" filler. In addition, it was like we couldn't pick the 2 sides we wanted which were listed on the menu...they automatically came with 2 sides already. Waitress never came back for refills and to see if we needed anything else. And it took forever for the check...needless to say, she did not receive a good tip. Sorry, but this place needs new management and new servers. Should have skipped this one for sure.

We were a party of 10 with kids for lunch. We were there promptly at noon and a bit surprised that it was near empty. Drink machines were out of order, including beer taps. So settled for canned soda and bottled beer. We had appetizers, oysters, kids meals, sandwiches and fish. All was average (though a she crab soup came out cold...twice).

Mission accomplished in terms of feeding two hungry families. But, when you get the bill, it adds a bit of disappointment. Overall, a plain ole average meal.
