“History Comes Alive”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 16, 2013

The cost is $10 per person, which considering that this is a very small exhibit, seems a bit steep. The best part was the ship, which actually had 2 "crew members" aboard who spoke to guests about the history of this ship. The other parts were somewhat interesting, but there were only guides at the blacksmith area too... but they didn't speak at all. It seems like they could do a lot more with this exhibit, or lower the price.

“Interesting botanical experience”

Gardens are pretty but season matters a lot which is obvious. It is a great place to spend a hot sultry afternoon or even a lightly rainy one. Near the Fort and great for walking paths nearby.

“historic park”

We enjoyed this park, even the 2 year old and the 6 year old. Replica British Ship was well done, as was the small settlement.

“Great History Visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 2, 2013

This place was pretty cool. The replica merchant ship was very interesting and the staff were very knowledgeable about it. there were also some interesting Native American and colonial displays that gave you a good feel for what life was like back then.

“Small, but hands on and educational”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 2, 2013

The guides there were very informative, but (except for the ship) very amateurish. I was hoping for more people pretending they were the real colonists and indigenous people. However, we did like the hands-on interactive displays.
