We went with one other couple who likes to share; so we got to sample quite a bit from the menu. A nice selection of cocktails started the evening. The atmosphere was comfortable but tight where we were seated. The outside seating looked like the way to go but it was a little chilly for our evening. Great appetizers and small plates for starters: drunken oysters were a big hit and the tuna tartar was a close second. The lobster bisque was a bit thin and not a lot of lobster but tasty. We had one good salad dish and one so-so. The service was a bit slow but it ended up being a good pace for a very relaxed evening. We were able to have uninterrupted conversation in the fairly quiet room. We all decided on fish entrees: 2 - Monkfish, 1 - stuffed sole and a Halibut special. The halibut was by far the best fish of the night, the squid ink risotto with the monkfish was awesome and the stuffed sole was a little better than average. The only real disappointment of the night was the wine selection. We all happen to be red wine lovers no matter what the entrée. Only four reds to pick from: one merlot, one pinor nior, one cab and one zin. The overall price was a little high for what we got but in line with others in the area. I'd try it again. I think they'll work through some things and make some improvements.
