Part One:Eat here fairly often, usually for lunch as I enjoy the mussels on the daily special luncheon menu which are different from the regular menu and change each day of the week. Went for dinner with two friends. Two of us ordered mussels. They were cold when they arrived so we sent them back. Waited an appropriate time and requested our waitress to check on them. They were not ready. Waited another 15 minutes and asked for the Manager. He apologized and in about another ten minutes piping hot and very good mussels were served. By then our friend had eaten most of his meal, surf and turf, which he said was good.
When the check arrived I was surprised there was no deduction for our inconvenience and said so to the Manager when leaving. He said the waitress didn't bring him the check but agreed that he would comp us the next time.
Part Two: Went back today for lunch. Ordered one Belgian mussel order for my partner and a luncheon order of mussels for myself. Two orders of Belgian mussels arrived and the waiter said that's what I ordered and he never heard of anyone ordering the luncheon mussel special.
Fortunately the Manager came in while we were there. I reminded him of my experience from the previous dinner and explained the incorrect ordering by my waiter today.
He comped both our lunches which correctly resolved the issue.
