“Always top-notch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 30, 2013

A small, comfortable restaurant with some outstanding dishes. Fairly quiet. We had a mussel dish as an appetizer, which was very good. The duck trio (duck breast, duck sausage, duck bacon) was terrific – a very interesting combination of flavors – with roasted Brussels sprouts and parsnip puree. The wine list is very reasonable in price with some excellent selections. We have been here three times and will go back.

“Always love this place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 27, 2013 via mobile

We had a lovely reserved table for four on the Saturday night of Oysterfest. Two of us had the halibut-and-lobster special, one had the duck dish and one had roasted fish special. We all loved our dishes. We topped them off by sharing three desserts: Cheesecake and key lime were outstanding, and chocolate bombe was deliciously rich. Service was wonderful.

“Very nice dinner”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 27, 2013

We finished our week on the Cape with dinner here and it was really lovely. All of the food we had was excellent. They start you off with warm bread and roasted garlic...what's not to love? We had 1/2 dozen oysters and were excited to see they offered them with mignonette sauce, something we hadn't seen elsewhere. The fish of the day was very good and the duck trio was fantastic. We rounded things out with creme brulee - which was pumpkin, fitting for the end of October. The decor was simple and elegant and the service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend it!

“Not Just for Seafood”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 25, 2013

As much as one may indulge in seafood on the Cape, there are times when one wants a change. WO seems to be that place. Although we started with a dozen oysters, and my wife had the excellent sole in a light cream and caper sauce, I went for their Wicked Burger with a blue cheese aioli. It was cooked rare, as I had asked, but still perfectly charred. The twice cooked fries were also terrific. They also have an excellent wine menu by the glass for the surfers and turfers. Our waitperson could not have been friendlier. Considering the quality of the food, the price was also quite reasonable.

“Good food, friendly, and reasonably priced.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 24, 2013

Very interesting menu for a small restaurant. Fun food without going over the edge into precious. A little light on seafood choices (this is Wellfleet, remember.) Service is very good and on the right side of friendly. The place is charming and seems to be patronized by locals as well as tourists. The prices were exactly right for a tourist place serving above average food.
