From the moment we arrived at the restaurant we felt welcomed. We waited outside in a quickly moving line and were promptly handed menus so we could decide what we wanted. The place is BYOB, which was nice touch as it made the wait time fly and drastically cut down our bill.
The menu all around is extremely fresh and well thought out. My girlfriend and I split a bowl of the seafood gumbo and it was just the right amount of spice. Todd the owner stopped by our table and suggested we add a bit of Tabasco sauce and it complemented the gumbo perfectly.
We ordered the broiled scallops and a Caesar salad with salmon for our meals. The seafood was cooked perfectly, and we both cleaned our plates!
The side of corn on the cob was amazing! (So sweet, and didn't even need butter.)
The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Overall, the whole ordering and serving process was flawless. I was wondering how the food would find our table, but it did within a short period of time and was great. However, they organize it..it works. Also, it was a nice change from the Cape Cod places that are simply order and take a tray to eat. This was way more relaxing, more of a restaurant experience, but with the casual Cape feel.
The decor was warm and inviting and the music was very relaxing.
We will surely be back and bring friends and family with us! Thanks Todd for a great meal & experience!
