The Beachcomber is perched atop the dune at Cahoon Hollow, overlooking the ocean. The perk of parking here is that you pay $20 to park and you receive a $20 food voucher to the restaurant (versus the municipal lot next door which is also $20).
It's a casual atmosphere, and as you would imagine, the lines are crazy near any meal time. The staff is friendly and as attentive as this busy place allows.
We went on closing day and had fried oysters, among other things, which were fantastic. Even my nine-year-old was raving about the oysters.
The only seats with a view are in the bar area which can get very busy. The live music is a bonus.
This bar/restaurant is true to what it is: an after beach day restaurant. Yes, they have the standard bar food that you can get anywhere, but this isn't haute cusiine, just remember that.
