“The beach is fine but what about Marconi”
Reviewed May 3, 2014 via mobile

We visited here and whilst the beach was pretty we were disappointed by the lack of information on Marconi's first transatlantic signal test.

“Beaches, joy of”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

Truthfully, there no 'bad' choice for a beach in all of Wellfleet. All are 'family' friendly, great places to meet and greet folks. There is just something wonderful about watching the ocean, ebb and flow; almost mesmerizing, so to speak. The smell of the salt air and the sound of the water just about puts one in 'another world' for a while.

The sweeping dunes down to the beach, a platform just right for small ceremonies, the waves crashing below what more could you want for the perfect outdoor venue!

“Hidden gem, not to be missed!”
Reviewed October 22, 2013

Everyone talks of the great beaches of Cape Cod. Well this is another one! We just happen to ride our bikes there to check it out. Not thinking there would be much to see. But boy! Where we in for a treat! This is another BEAUTIFUL beach in Cape Cod!! I highly recommend a visit. Pack you picnic and enjoy a must less crowded beach to hang. Great for the whole family!

“One of many great beaches on the backshore”
Reviewed October 15, 2013

Marconi, Cahoon's Hollow, Newcomb Hollow and Nauset are all fantastic beaches. The water is icy cold even in August and the waves are usually great. Parking is dicey in the summer so go early (or go in the late afternoon; sunsets are terrific.) The Cape is at its very best in the fall but May and June can be nice. Summer is crowded and although the beach is huge, the parking is limited. Don't miss Wellfleet town center - it is a pretty, still relatively unspoiled Cape Cod town.
