“Power of the Ocean - Yikes!”
Reviewed October 10, 2013

Yikes - Marconi Station has disappeared down the dunes. Gone forever because of erosion. And then came the government shut down. Locals overdid it by closing places that really didn't need to be closed - even through out vacationers from a motel that was in the National Seashore.

“Worked for Marconi in UK for 38 years so just had to visit”
Reviewed September 28, 2013 via mobile

It was not a disappointment. It was beautifully clean and we could see for miles. I bet it gets very crowded during the summer months, but today at the end of September it was a glorious day to enjoy the beach,

“Great First Days...Not as Great on the Last.”
Reviewed September 26, 2013

We enjoyed the clean environment of this Federal Beach on our first two days.
The last day on Thursday August 19th was a constant struggle with the numerous sand flies and sand crabs that bit us. It was a day that left us with bites and infected areas that lasted weeks afterwards.
The area around the entrance and lifeguards was so saturated with families and individuals that it was difficult to walk to the bathrooms.
We found some comfort in settling down at the extreme ends of the beach. It was fascinating to view the group of seals that swam so close to the shore.
Parking is plentiful (but come early) with a $ 15 daily fee (unless you're 62 years old and have obtained the "America The Beautiful Senior Pass" to Federal beaches and parks) and the bathroom facilities are OK.

“Beautiful beach”
Reviewed September 25, 2013

Clean and clear. Beautiful day for the beach. Tide was out when we got there, and couldn't believe how far it comes in. Just wish a nice restaurant was closer...

“Must visit, any time, any season”
Reviewed September 24, 2013

Marconi is a world class beach. Clear refreshing water. Waves. Seals. Huge dunes. Epic beach that is worth a visit. Perhaps one of the best on the Cape. HUGE low tide. Walking beach, for miles and miles.
