A piece of Paris amongst the oysters and clams and greenheads. So many great breads and pastries there is always a line out the door. Go early and get the farmer's bread to go with your homemade chowder or bouillibaisse.

Quite something to find a French bistro and bakery in Cape Cod (Wellfleet). French baguette, Croissant, Cafe Lattee (yup ! this is how they write latte). We did not have the chance to try all but we ate well for lunch (Club sandwich with house smoked salmon & French pastries).
Our only complaint is the line-up. Those just buying bread will line up with customers buying lunch.. They should have a little more space for quick purchase..

So be patient for a long wait but it is worth it.

The breakfast pastries were amazing. We come to the Cape every year and we come here every time we visit. The baguettes are delicious!! We have come for dinner, but with a party of 9 it is very expensive. We do love the baked chicken and the steak. Overall it is a great restaurant!!!

Excellent breads, pastries and specials, but the house-smoked salmon is just exquisite -- ultra-thin sliced, almost translucent with that lovely oil surface and rich, rich flavor. Try it on one of PB's croissants. Meals here are wonderful, too. Pricey, and worth it.

After tasting the delicious brioche in the bakery, my spouse and I and friends of ours made reservations for dinner.

Upon arrival at the restaurant, we had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated. As we waited, my husband purchased a baguette. Then, right in front of our noses, the hostess who sold my husband a baguette gave away baguettes to customers as they left the restaurant。

The waitress who served us was both helpful and well informed but clearly over extended. In addition to waiting tables she served the beverages and food and also provided music on the Limonaire! The rest of the staff appeared overworked as they tried to deliver an overly ambitious menu.

The refrigerator was not running so an attempt was made ti chill the white wine we ordered in an ice bucket. In the end, we consumed 1/2 bottle of slightly warm wine.

The beet salad was excellent. Three types of beets were served with a softened and creamy goat cheese interspersed with endive leaves.

Two of us consumed a fish stew prepared in verge (?). Both sgreed that the dish was too salty. The steak my spouse ate was also over salted but the fries were crisp and very tasty.

Having consumed enough food, we passed up the patisseries.
