Wonderful food, bakery, and atmosphere! Very friendly, happy and upbeat service and personnel. Exquisite baked goods and pastries. Delicious croissants, sandwiches, bread, chocolate tarts, lemon tarts, and the most superb chocolate eclairs.
Lovely atmosphere and decor, and immaculately clean.
We are hard to please and PB Boulangerie surpassed our expectations.
Love it and will return!
Keep up the great work; it is most appreciated!

This was our second time at this popular Wellfleet Bakery/Restaurant. The first time we had the Prix Fixe menu, the second time a la carte. Both times have been slightly off-season as we imagine (and can see from the lines outside) that in the height of the season, eating there would be very frustrating.

We made our reservations and were seated after some wait after 8pm. Our booth was in a chilly spot and our concerns were made to the waitress. We ordered the most expensive entree on the menu ($32) and then the Dover Sole special (with lima beans, clams and spinach). We could not imagine the cost greater than that. After very average duck rillettes (fairly tastless) and prosciutto parmigiano (I buy mine from Costco and saw no perciptible difference) we found both entrees lacking somewhat in flavor. We had to ask for salt and pepper. However, when the bill came, we discovered that the Dover Sole special was a whopping $45!!! We never thought to ask the price of the specials. Now we certainly feel cheated or suckered if that is a better word.

Certainly Caveat Emptor. Although the atmosphere is decidedly French and and ambience tries so hard, we have felt both times that the food almost certainly does not match the pricing, the overly complicated descriptions, and the infatuated reputation. Before this meal we were tempted to try their $90 wine paring menu on May 2nd, but fortunately saved ourselves from that .

Overpriced and reputation over inflated most certainly. Be warned!

We have not been able to try this restaurant for dinner yet but were looking for a place to have breakfast and stopped in on a Sunday morning. The line was long but the breads and pastries looked and smelled amazing.

We both had quiche and a cup of coffee and it was great. We also took a baguette home with us and it was terrifc as well. They seem to do all their baking at the restaurant.

They have indoor and out door seating

I would definitely go back

This is a upscale place which is a new addition for the cape. The cost is a little high for Cape Cod . We went last year for restaurant week and they were not sure if they had a three course special that was in a article in the Cape Cod Times, but after we ask to talk to the manager all was fine. The food was very nice.
