We've been to the Pearl on a couple of occasions. As usual for the Cape service is spotty, but it is friendly. The location is nice right on the wharf, but sometimes traffic can be a little bit hectic since the road curves, there are multiple parking areas and people can be all over depending on the day. Just keep an eye out when you are driving and walking.
They have a large bar area. Decent beer selection, some wines and the usual cocktails. On this trip I was drinking Dark and Stormys, theirs was ok. (the best one I had was at the Squealing Pig in Provincetown).
Foodwise, oysters very fresh. (They had better be, considering their location!). Chowders are consistently good. This trip I had the scallops with the veg of the day and roasted red potatoes. The scallops were also very fresh, no iodine taste and prepared well. The veggies also fresh, prepared simply and not mushy. The potatoes were nicely done, whole with skin on. Ceasar salad was ok, nothing to write home about, but not bad either.
Solid food - nothing fantastic, but good food. A tad bit pricey, but most restaurants are there, so that's just a given. We left satisfied.
