“visitor center first”

stop by the visitor center first. See the movie. Then, go out and see the park. It is beautiful and a lot of fun. Lots of places to hike and enjoy nature.

“Paved roads with many overlooks”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 15, 2013

You can see some of the ruins and parts of the canyon you can't see from the bottom. There are quite a few easy pull offs with great views.

“Amazing Views”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 28, 2013

If you are visiting Arizona, you must take the time to visit this amazing place. I liked it better than the Grand Canyon! At every look out there is something to see without having to walk a long distance. Also, it you look closely, there are other ruins here and there as well. I was amazed that no fees are charged for this beautiful area. Only thing I would do differently next time would be to take some food. There is no place anywhere close to eat and we were starved by the end of our adventure! Make sure you also take water!

Look what God and the Colorado River did together! Beautiful canyon, clean facilities in the park, well maintained rest/photo areas.

A must drive to all the Overlooks. Stunning views and very peaceful. Navajo's artists usually sell their artwork..
