1. FOOD - calamari - over cooked even though I told server not to but was replaced. Clam chowder - very good. Salad - fresh. My baked trio was oily. For something "baked" it shouldn't be that oily. ( haddock, shrimp and scallops)
2. PRICE - little pricey for its location and the food. ( lunch ($65) for 2 )
3. AMBIANCE - very nice and relaxing
4. CUSTOMER SERVICE - server (Sarah) I would not come back if I would be on her section. Doesn't say please, thank you or sorry . One customer behind me was still talking and she was already walking away. Now, the people bringing the food? Very courteous and helpful. I guess I just got a "lemon".
Bottom line, if we read the reviews before we parked at the restaurant, we would go somewhere else. The owner or manager needs to read and adjust their way of doing things if they want to stay in business. Bad reviews hurt. Bad customer service hurt as well. When your customer has 2 or more box to take home, offer a plastic bag. Start there. Then some server needs lessons on the little things - the please and thank you. It'll go a long way.
VERDICT - will try again to support local business and hopefully customer service would be better.
