We have eaten here 4 or 5 times...we drive all the way from Tampa just to enjoy it. This is the only place I know of that sells rock shrimp, which was what made them famous. Seems that the ads from the last few years push other items but the rock shrimp are the reason to go. Sont let someone who has never really eaten a rock shrimp tell you that they are just like regular shrimp...they taste sort of a cross between normal shrimp and lobster to me. I can easily eat a dozen and half. Their sides are good...the slaw, the addictive little corn fritters, the krabby bites with their own habanero hot sauce...yum! We usually bring friends and they have tried the regular shrimp, lobster and soup and liked it all. the restaurant is clean and the service has always been great, even the time we took our large dog and opted to get the food to go so we could picnic in a nearby park. So go...and make sure to have the rock shrimp.

Definitely a must! This restaurant is recommended by people in Orlando and the surrounding areas.

Food is well presented and tasty. They are well known for their Rock Shrimp... They are hard to peel. The trick? Squeeze them shut and pull the shells off! He waiter happily showed us how to do that!

I'd go back and may in the near future! Certainly something to look forward to!

Ok, parking lot and first impression are a little off-putting…….. However, if you're the type of person who's all about the food….. then GO!!!!, just GO!!!!! Order a dozen BROILED Rock Shrimp and then order another order to prove that your first dozen weren't a fantasy…… trust me, you'll thank me later!!!!!

Travel here at least once a year! Rock shrimp are amazing as well as the clam chowder! My kids love as well and of course love to feed the fish on the way out! Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed lunch recently @ Dixie Crossroads. Our server was polite and very attentive. After we ordered, our waitress delivered free "fritters" dusted with powdered sugar that were just like donuts - we couldn't stop eating them. The rock shrimp were amazing. We shared the Cape Canaveral Special. We enjoyed feeding the fish and turtles in the little pond area outside too.
