We'd heard great comments about this place, and I was anxious for some good seafood. All of my anticipation was not for loss. It was great ! My friend and I had two different combo meals, so we could taste nearly everything they serve. The only problem was that we couldn't eat it all. We tasted everything, and filled up on the one we liked best. SO, "lit's good & plenty of it" !!! We'll make a stop in here when we come thru here.

We stumbled upon Dixie Crossroads while on a day trip to Canaveral National Seashore. We finished our day at the beach a little early and decided to grab a little mid-afternoon meal on our way out of town. A quick visit to Trip Advisor guided us here - it was just what we were looking for, simple Florida seafood.

The menu was as expected with a great emphasis on shrimp (three different kinds)! We ordered the Ruby Red shrimp steamed with melted butter and accompanied it with fries and clam chowder. The complimentary fritters were very good and the chowder was excellent. The shrimp arrived promptly and were very well cooked and hot. We followed up the meal with Key Lime pie which was perfect (dark yellow in color and tart).

The service was excellent and our waitress was friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu and the different shrimp offered.

We were extremely pleased with our meal and making plans to return when the bill arrived. I was amazed to see that my beer was $6.95!!! This is for a glass of non-imported beer. I guess this helps explain the fairly low prices for food, but wow. That's a five-star resort hotel price. All totaled, our bill, before tip, was $33.63 for one dozen shrimp, a beer, one soft drink and a piece of pie. Not old-school prices, that's for sure. Will that prevent us from returning? Probably not, but maybe only for the specials.

We are so glad you found our restaurant and were able to try some of the locally caught shrimp and our homemade key lime pie. We will share you compliments with our staff and managers

We appreciate your comment on the price of the craft beer. The beer you are referring to is one of three locally crafted beer we carry on tap. Our craft beers range from $5 to $6.75. Our domestic beers are $3.50.

Please know that we price all of our products, food and drink, as fairly as possible and in no way try to get more money for our drinks to make up for our food prices.

Again, thank you letting us know we are doing good job with our service and the meals we serve.

We look forward to serving you again in the future.

This place is just amazing. We've been here several times. Just because the parking lot is full doesn't mean you have a long wait. I don't think we ever waited longer than 20 min. The inside of the restaurant is huge. Very clean and very eye appealing. The staff there are outstanding, our servers name was Sharon. What a pleasant and vibrant personality. Very attentive. The food! OMG. Unbelievably good. Three of us started out with 1 1/2 doz rock shrimp. Wish we would had got 3 dozen. They tatse a lot like lobster. You can only get them in this area and they have a special machine to devain them. I have never seen them on any other menu. Oh so good. Daughter had the single Maine lobster meal. She got the whole lobster, not just the tail. I think it was $17. Very reasonable. Wife and I got the shrimp & grits. Really good. And for dessert their home made key lime pie. Awh to die for. Every time we're in the Orlando area, we go to Dixie Crossroads.
