I have been coming to Dixie Crossroads off and on since I was a young girl. We live in Alaska so we know fresh seafood:) We try to eat there whenever we are in the area visiting family.
We took my elderly parents to Dixie Crossroads for lunch on Sunday afternoon at the height of the tourist season in Florida and were seated within 10 minutes. (Very busy but efficient restaurant)
The service was prompt, friendly and efficient. The food arrived hot and prepared as ordered. Prices are higher than before but what isn't? Pricing seems appropriate for the food.
Rock shrimp are always fresh and broiled just right. Fried oysters were fresh and cooked properly. Side dishes could use a lift but that is not why you eat there. The corn fritters are the best. Watch that kids don't fill up on fritters before the food arrives.
We have grown kids coming to visit the grandparents so will eat there again before heading back to Alaska!
