We arrived before the gates opened and stayed until it closed. I wish we had planned a second day here. The exhibits are amazing if not a bit overwhelming--there's so much to learn, see, read about, etc. The movies and interactive displays were great for our kids. The few "rides" like Shuttle Launch Experience are top-notch. The basic bus tour included with admission was great. When our kids get older I'd like to add the Cape Canaveral Early Space Tour and see the old launch pads, block houses, and pad 34 (with the Apollo 1 memorial), but at 10 and 8 I figured their attention span would not be ideal for the longer bus ride. In fact, their attention waned toward the end of the day but the onsite playground helped with that. I loved the day spent at KSC and I'm looking forward to going back.

This qualifies a better experience than theme parks and shall be of interest to anyone who has some konwdlege about space and even if not the shows are wonderful.
Imax shows not to be missed and so is Atlantis experience including the launch experience. Did not do the bus tour and as it takes 2 hrs...difficult to pack the space center visit and bus tour on a single day...as there shall be something you shall miss.
Shows are good and should not be missed
The space goodies are a good buys and Tshirts etc are affordable, the food is space cafe is very good and reasonably priced and good portions...better than theme parks

It is amazing how much has been invested in space travel when you see all that has occurred. There is so much to see and it really consumes the majority of the day. The bus tour was great and it was need to see the launch pad and assembly building. The Apollo area was great and informative. A lot of activities for people to partake in very interactive especially the Atlantis area. Too truly experience everything and see the movies you probably require two days. great tributes to the pioneers in space. good dining options and priced fairly for an attraction. Admission was $50. Only reason I didn't give it a 5 is considering the admission rate it seems petty to charge $10 for parking in the middle of no where. Definitely worth the visit

Thanks for visiting! Did you know that the visitor complex is not funded by U.S. tax dollars? Instead, it is funded by visitor-generated revenue to maintain and augment the exhibits that are offered to visitors, including the actual space shuttle Atlantis and other space artifacts. We are glad that you enjoyed your visit with us!

We visited the Kenedy Space centre during our 2 week trip to florida, and were very impressed. There is a lot to do and see at the space centre, including taking a shuttle bus to the Saturn 5 centre where you can learne about Nasa’s space program to land man on the moon, or you can explore a mock up of the shuttle atlantis, and even experience what a shuttle launch is like in a shuttle simulator. Not to mention there are a few gift shops and cafaes doted around the area, which provide an excellent service. The staff are very friendly and are only too happy to help you with what ever enquiry. In short, The Kenedy Space centre is defenately worth a visit if your ever in the area. As the trip review title describes it, it is a fun and informative experience, and it is defenately worth a visit

Having last visited the center over 35 years ago perhaps it has become a little too commercialized and pricey. Set aside a full day to fully enjoy the enormous centre - our mistake was allowing only a half day. It is a valuable educational experience for those interested in the science, history, and future of space exploration. Our experience also encountered large groups of students who were not well behaved.

Space Shuttle Atlantis, the site bus tour past the VAB, old shuttle crawlers and launch pads, launch simulation ride, and IMAX movie are the highlights.
