Three of us dined at Zia's in Little Italy and loved everything they served us. We started with the antipasto and were impressed with the cheese and meat selections and really enjoyed the bruschetta. Tender gnocchi in a smooth tomato sauce was excellent, as were the veal Oscar and the stuffed eggplant dish which we thought was unique - pasta and cheeses wrapped in eggplant slices and baked - was superb. We were there on a half-price wine night, so we had an excellent bottle of Pinot noir for the price of 2 glasses. Plus they had a wonderful guitarist playing! All-in-all, a terrific evening.

Had dinner here and the food was so-so, nothing spacial, not bad though. Wine was a bit on the expensive side no real inexpensive alternatives.

Terrible terrible food. Beef carpaccio was swimming in balsamic and swamped with Parmesan. Lobster ravioli awlful beyond words: the pasta may have been fresh once but it certainly wasn't today - a heavy, slightly chewy texture to it. The filling was a tasteless mulch with a slight whiff of fish. The sauce was a bright, creamy, heavy, cloying gloop that left me feeling queasy. The bread had clearly come out of the freezer before being heated up because it was hard and chewy on the outside but with cold butter on the inside. Service very over eager with the main course being delivered the very moment the first plate was removed. I passed on desert.

We stopped during some shopping and this was a great spot to sit outside and people watch. The service was great and so was the panini's.
