“Great little find-surprisingly good!”
Reviewed January 4, 2012

We were out for the day, seeing the amusement park and the ocean. We were looking for a cheap lunch and this was not the cheapest choice but it was SO good. It does not look like much from the outside, just a little restaurant on the strip. We ordered at the counter and then sat at an outside table with a sweeping ocean view. The food was bountiful, hot and delicious. Between 3 of us we had the chicken plate, gyros, french fries and falafel. Delicious fries with some yummy spices, wonderful toasty pita bread, mounds of chicken, gyros, salad and falafel-these are seriously large portions. Food is cooked to order, expect to wait for a few minutes-but it was so worth it. Friendly staff-this place is worth a visit.

“Good food and great value for your money”
Reviewed September 5, 2011

We googled restaurants located near our hotel in Mission Beach and Kojack's was one of the places listed. It has a perfect location right next to the beach and across the street from Belmont Park. It is small but full of character, including a picture of the owner with Johnny Cash. We ordered the chicken plate, the salmon dinner, the salmon burger along with fish and chips. The salmon dishes and chicken were well seasoned, the pita bread was fresh and the tzatziki was perfect. *Insider's tip: When you are thirsty, order the large beer (32 oz!! to our surprise).* It is a good value for your money and definitely worth trying.
