An ideal little park for young children to play on playground equipment or on the nearby beach. Idealistic area with calm waters due to Mission Bay. Wonderful area.

My family of 5 stayed bayside for 4 nights. Although we loved a day visit to the beach oceanside, there is a lot of rif raf that comes with it in my opinion. The beaches also were not combed of seaweed etc. We appreciated being on the bay here at Fanuel St., where the kids could play in the sand, enjoy the park and restrooms nearby, volleyball on the beach and our older kids could use the boardwalk for a bicke ride etc. all very close to PB or MB. To put into perspective its a bout a 3 minute walk to Catamaran Resort. Skip Pacific beach or Mission Beach for a family day, visit here. You won't have the waves but its a great spot to picnic and enjoy a day. Its a hidden surprise.

Fanuel Beach Park is located on the serene Mission Bay walking path. Picnic tables, a playground for the kids, soft white sand and plenty of green grass to lay and relax.
