This combination of seafood market and restaurant is a must. Expect to line up if you're there on the weekend, but it is well worth the wait. They have local beers and an impressive selection of fish and seafood choices for tacos. I had the beer battered lobster and mahi-mahi tacos. The portions are generous, without being enormous and cooked to order (hence the wait in line). It's easy to get to from the trolley and well worth the visit for one of the best fish tacos you will ever have.

After googling DDD San Diego we choose this one. We arrive around 5:15 and it wasn't too busy yet. The chowder was amazing, and the shrimp nd red snapper tacos were cooked to perfection. The calamari seemed overlooked and too deep fried. The kids meal was over the top with 6 pieces of chicken each. I heard he salmon and scallops were okay, the scallops were vey buttery, ambiance was very relaxed, servers hardly talked to you as you order at the till.

This is a restaurant and a seafood market in one. The food is great, albeit a tad expensive for what it is. The servers are helpful and fun. A very very casual atmosphere where you can just let it go and just eat and enjoy. Their Seafood Cioppino is excellent and I recommend that you give it a try. It is a hearty portion, so share it with someone.

My brother in law took me to this place and I knew it instantly from DDD. We got there about 11:30am and there was just a small line. Ordered a beer battered lobster taco and the mahi mahi taco. Both were great. The mahi was cooked perfectly....nice and moist. The lobster was just a little more tasty because of the batter and the sauce. I did spice up the mahi taco with hot sauce. The store has seafood to buy and take home. A little pricey, but it all looks really fresh.
