Worst hotel ever

1.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Jul 24, 2019
This place was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was dirty and had bugs. The room was never vacuumed while we were there save money and go anywhere else! Even a hostel would be better than this smelly place!

Depends on what you are looking for in a your stay. New and modern this is not your place. If you are on a budget and this meets your location and budget requirements. Then go in knowing the room is not going to be the memorable part of your trip. We needed to sleep 4 people and for our budget this fit the mark. We're a laid back family so no reason to bash the property. But in our case we had no towels, shower curtain or hair products upon check in and after a half-day of work and 7 hour drive it's not a warm welcome. Staff resolve the best they could but not everyone will find humor in using hand towels to dry off or heres the curtain you hang it.

Check in was a joke had to wait a good 45 min in the process of checking in 2 different couples came back one to let the front desk know that someone naked person was already in their room (glad that wasn't me walking in with my kids) then the next couple didn't want to stay in the homeless section (2nd red flag ) should have left then but was looking forward to the bunk beds for the kids an king size bed for me an the wife (we travel a lot so this is one of the reason we booked here) was handed the paper work we noticed that there was a charge for parking where never told about the parking fee over night they didn't charge us that god . Finally got are room an key passed the homeless an didn't want to tip them as we waited for the gate to open. Removed are stuff from the car passed the permanent resident living in the room next to us. About an hr later left for dinner came back passed the homeless parked an notice the security guard letting people in the room below us. Went back to the room forgot something in the car noticed the security guard was letting a new set of people in the room. wake up the next day hoping the car was still their an not broken into waved to the permanent residents left for the day . Finally got back to the hotel around 12am only to find out that the key card wont work passed the homeless again back to the lobby waiting a good half hr (with the kids in the car) got a new key card passed the homeless waited till the gate opened as the homeless started to get close parked the car waved to the security guard an the new set of people that would be sleeping below us. waved to are new friends the permanent resident finally locked the door an left the next day

Reserved a king room, got 2 queens. Dirty beds, dirty bathroom, floors were gross, bedding looked dirty and used. The crib they gave me for my baby also looked dirty and used. Electrical outlet behind bed looked like it was going to start a fire because it was sparking when I tried to plug my phone in. When I called and asked for these issues to be resolved, nothing was done!! Overall terrible experience.

I was so hesitant to book this place after reading all the reviews.....

We are currently at this hotel we booked for our stay for comic con (which other hotels were triple the price I not more) and we came in with very low expectations after reading the reviews

HOWEVER we are pleasantly surprised! the staff at check in were extremely nice, quick and helpful. check in took about 5 minutes. the lady behind the counter gave us the internet password and easy directions to our room.

The place is old style but still nice. You walk into the room and it was extreamly clean and they had the aircon running which was nice. As per all other reviews there is a slight smell to the room but its really not bad at all especilly if you put the aircon or vent on. It is an old hotel room and thats what to be expected just like if you walked into an older house. Bedand pillow are comfortable and we have alot of space in our room. Tv is great (two TVs in our hotel room)

Location is great! 7 minutes to the train station. 8 minutes to fashion valley mall and 11 minutes to the convention center. Every kind of fast food is around us within small walking distance. IN N OUT, Pizza, olive garden, chic fil a ect…. Target and ralphs across the road and a lot of other stores.

overall so far (have not checked out yet) i would recomend this hotel. Its great vale for money especially during comic con! And the lady at the frount coungter was extreamly nce and effecient.

We have stayed here before. This place has gone down hill and fast. Staff is very rude and not helpful. Rooms smell of mold and the finishes are old and coming apart. The tubs look like they are about to fall apart.
