The frontal view of this hotel is very inviting but the rest of the property needs to have serious upgrades.
The check-in area was quite pleasant and the staff was very courteous and helpful with directions and so on.
The construction design of the buildings requires guests to enter the rooms from an outdoor hallway. The outdoor elevator for getting to the upper floors had an entry area that was very messy and the elevator was service worn on the inside. Getting into our third-floor room was quite challenging as the door-handle didn't work as expected at first. The carpeting showed signs of much wear, the bathtub had a soft spot in the middle suggesting that a bad job was done in the installation of a new tub over an original one, and lastly, the ceiling fan was blowing out a lot of black stuff onto the toilet and the floor. We moved to another room. The bedding was comfortable and the linens were always clean and fresh. There are restaurants and shopping plazas in close proximity which can be reached by walking.
